How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared
That's pretty much what I would have expected. It's almost as if he is training to climb some number of grades harder than the routes he encounters at the competition so that he'll be sure to onsight it. It's crazy to think what kind of route he could put up if he had 100's of goes on it.

2-3 letter grades, minimum. If you wear it while you are climbing, you are ready for the madness cave.
