Michelle and I always have our dogs unleashed at the crag. I'm surprised nobody ever tells us they don't appreciate it in person. Pussy ass humans. Step up and speak up.

"meet my dog. his name is vinegar. he is a good doggy and won't step on your rope"

"hi vinegar. meet baking soda--she is also a good dog."

and they all lived happily ever after. the end. 8)

SCIN, I would just kick them if they pissed me off (and I ever climbed) but you know that.

Ahh I love stirring the pot with the same ole shit.

Had another run-in with an unleashed pooch yesterday. This time there was justice served.

SCIN, I'd call you on your dogs if they were bothering me.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

he knows i steal his food while he isn't looking (and if he doesn't he does now). i don't think he is yet hardened enough for a life in prison.
Brent, liked the roach and the rat you would survive.

HALT! is good for dogs...dog formulated pepper spray.

It isn't too strong and harmful, but it gets the point across. Of course if you don't like dogs you could use bear spray.

I had lots of dog problems in KY, but only one hostile encounter in CO, though I've had a lot of close calls almost body checking dogs on bike paths and on the street.

I'm tired of idiot dog owners who "leash" their dogs with a 20' cord. Kinda defeats the purpose. Gonna start carrying a knife so I can cut them when they cross my path. Or maybe I'll start using the HALT! on the owners...
