That's absolutely right. I think Tomo might have done that more than ten years ago.
BUT I seriously hope that there are no 5.13 soloists here in the Red. Hate to see a sensless accident add to the toll here, as that could affect the access, etc. Responsible climbing please, and leave the solo hero attempts to some Colorado backcountry rock.
Uhh... you're a little late on this one.

Well, I guess I meant as a regular practice. Just so it doesn't get to be the accepted 'norm for the Red, thus enticing young newbees to foolishly try it in thinking they must prove something. Just be safe out there I ask.
Your ignorance is showing there, smart ass, because you have no idea what Super Alpinism is. But go ahead, call sport climbing Super Duper Sport Climbing if you want to.
The most prevalent "super" style of climbing that I see is super ignorant climbing
"Be responsible for your actions and sensitive to the concerns of other visitors and land managers. ... Your reward is the opportunity to climb in one of the most beautiful areas in this part of the country." John H. Bronaugh
Its all just climbing. None of us are heros. Some just think so. The rest is just a bunch of BS. Trad climbing is sport climbing is bowling is golf is basketball is sking is running is biking .....bla bla bla bla bla bla blahhhhhhh ..... Its what we choose to do for fun. Sorry, but thats all there is to it.
I am a super hero..in my tighty whiteys. Ask Caribe..he has sampled the badness.
I thought we settled this pages ago. Like Meadows said, 90% of so called traddies are merely Tina Topropers. Of course it's hard, because you suck so bad at it.
