and also, why would you want to promote your mediocrity with a 5.11 sticker.

the sticker should just say "RED"

for those of us who are fans of the color, as well as the place.

by all means - if someone wants to print 5.11 stickers (w/o the rrgcc.org or other logo/trademark-ish things) and thinks they will sell - feel free to do so. just because some of the people that post on here won't buy them doesn't mean there's no market at all. you can either sell them yourself and donate the proceeds to the RRGCC or give them to the RRGCC and we'll sell them at events along with other donated items.

perhaps a better idea would be to produce one that says RRG in big letters and Red River Gorge underneath in small letters. i think this may be better bec
1. it avoids the problems of using RRGCC logo material - which must be approved by the board
2. it appeals to a wider audience of climbers, hikers, rappellers, ATV users etc. so hopefully will be even easier to sell.

or a PMRP sticker could be cool too w/the payoff date underneath.

but regardless of what goes on the sticker(s) - this is a great idea and i'm glad that people are willing to step up and implement it!

PMRP is an awesome choice...looks close to RMNP, which is where all the REAL climbers hang out.

true true, if it can make some bucks for the rrgcc them I am all for it. stickers are always a good idea, I am just remembering how this thread got started

Have you ever run a marathon? That shit hurts for days. You deserve a crappy little sticker. When you can finish ahead whoever displays that sticker, then you can quibble about time. Until then you need to find something else to whine about.
