Brentucky, the issue is representing yourself as an AMGA certified guide and offering what appear to be professional guiding services for free. While the former is true (Rick is indeed an AMGA certified guide if I understand correctly), "free" negates professional. It's really a matter of perception, and it matters. It's a simple business concept and has nothing to do with who "likes" who or any of that.
Meh, you just have to ask yourself how many people would have Rick the **content removed by "request" of Rick Weber**, guide them if he wasn't also the owner of muir. Then again, you just have to ask yourself how many people would actually hang out with him if he didn't own muir. It isn't what you have or even give that matters so much as what kind of person you are.
