There's the problem! "retired" people working on a weekend - using up jobs that could have employed many of these unemployed college kids who have nothing else to do now except climb because they can't find jobs!!! Dang! Pretty selfish guys! My idea is to RETIRE - not rework - but take it easy, get some rockers and shotguns on the porch and lam it in Eastern KY - I mean - honestly how much more money can you two expect to make?

They had specific instructions on who to contact to get the boot removed from your car. That wasn't the bad thing, it was getting that bloody sticker off the window. Anything short of a new razor blade knife was ineffective and if you happened to be stickered during a hot sunny day, forget it. It was like super strength bonded to the glass.
GWG you need to sober up and find jesus or something! Your college days have been over for a couple generations now and you need to face up with your age! Those stickers were what you hippies used to put your acid on before you spent all night listening to Alice Cooper sing Black JuJu and that other prepre gothic hippie shit! get help - you fried your cortex dude!

How many of you have been appointed proxy decision maker for parking enforcement at Muir Valley?
Actually, Rick and I have solicited and appreciate constructive ideas to improve the parking situation at Muir on busy days. We do consider these discussions to be well within the domain of any interested party who wants to help us improve Muir.

We have solicited ideas from Friends of Muir Valley and gotten many good suggestions, as well as a few rather draconian ideas.

We do have a team working now on a design to expand the parking lot, which we plan to implement later this year.

I guess that means Rick and Liz would be open to any constructive ideas you have Charlie. Do you have anything to offer other than antagonism towards your fellow climbers?

yeah, except to bolters and cool kids..then we get our own playground.

saxman, do you have a woodie for charlie? seems to me charlie was saying the weber's would address it when the time was right....

anyway, how about railing, numbered spots, big rocks lining the parking lot, etc. and then when those 24 spots are taken, muir is full...period.

I would suggest making the parking lot smaller, not larger. more dumb nuts will only make the problem worse. you have been warned. rick, would you like me to write a pigsteak corollary to handle this?

Piggie, just stop bolting anything under 12c. It'll keep the gumbies away.

In fact, we should remove all the bolts on everything under 12c. :D
