It's so small you could hide it in your butt. Not that you would...

Is that thing actually for sale? How big is the memory?

You can get them at stores now. I got the 512, since that is more then enough for my workout mix (~60 songs or so). $99. There is also a 1GB for $150. And it is super small and very light. I have never climbed with a MP3 player before, because they were so much bigger and more fragile. This little guy is coool. Perfect for workouts.

Hell yeah. One of my co-workers got one a week or so ago, the 1GB model. When he pulled it out of the package he let me feel it. So light, so simple.

I have two iPods now - a 15 GB and the new shuffle. I also have a couple other cool toys as well. But, I also have some skills and trade time off to climb for a 70k+ a year job.

You can download iTunes for free from the apple site, and it does a great job ripping cds. I think it is way better then the other options.

Wow! That's really cool (trading a job for climbing)! I'm gonna have to do that some day. Do you take any of your other high tech gizmos climbing???
I have a friend with a really cool GPS thingy that is great for hiking and traveling to distant places without getting lost. If it didn't cost as much as my car I'd get one!
