Thanks much, I really dig the 16-35 2.8 II on the 5D - so W I D E It might have been dust on the sensor, as we were changing lenses alot under windy and dusty conditions. But we also got some kinda sticky sap or something all over the front elements of several lenses right around the tetons. Found it as we were heading to vedauwoo. Usually I shoot so wide that dust doesn't even show up!

yeah, i like my 16-35 2.8 (mk I) but i've been playing with my friend's 10-22 EF-S (probably the only EF-S mount lens i'll touch)
saw a used 1D mk I the other day for $800...it's tempting.
i haven't been climbing much this year...and haven't gotten my ass out there to shoot (only so much that i'm interested in shooting in the city). i'll post up some shots later today.
