Meadows, When we were "hanging out", we had lots of conversations about music but somehow it missed me that you were/are an 80's hair-band fan. That's so rad! Warrent was like a local band for us in northest Ohio with Jani Lane being from Akron, Ohio

Just remember that the gorge is primarily sandstone, most holds are ticking time bombs, eventually they are going to break. Could be days from now could be centuries from now but eventually they will break. So continue soloing and good luck. You are truly one bad-ass mo fo and a hell of a climber I just suggest soloing in other areas where you know the rock is "bomber"

ok last thing for me about the soloing stuff.

Paul, your right I should chill, so I will be nicer. I would hate that I would be the one who said the nasty things about someone who died while soloing at the Red. So Greg, good luck with your future solos, I hope holds don't break on you. While I don't have any respect for people who solo sport routes at a sport crag(esp a privately own gem like the lode), I do have respect for people 5.13 at any style.

There now I am absolved from being the hater...

Anyone see the video of Michael Reardon busting his ass because a hold broke while soloing? Fortunately he was only about 20 feet up. He continues to solo. People who solo have it in their blood. You can't talk or scare them out of it.

I've tried to keep pretty quiet on this thread and just talk to Greg in person. I have noticed one glaring fact, Greg didn't post about this until everyone gave him so much shit. Also, he never posted a picture, someone else did.
