Joe Finney wrote:... And I like how they made fun of the mayor by humiliating him, even though hes dead now...
Oh. Well, that explains why his trailer was gone.

I finally saw this video last night. I didn't think the Mayor thing was a big deal. They just asked him some funny questions. Hell, the Mayor was a funny dude. It would've been strange if his interview was serious.

How is Spencer's movie doing sales wise? I thought it was such a good movie and hope everything goes well for him. Is there possibly a trad climbing movie in the works?

The fuckin mayor humiliated himself. Ever talk to that guy?? If puttin a camera on him and lettin him talk humiliates him, then he should just shut the fuck up.

Now he will, I guess.

NPR did a spot on the Napoleon Dynamite movie. The film was shot in a town in Idaho. The town hates the movie. They believe that it shows people from Idaho as backwards po-dunks, a sterotype they work to rise above. Interesting isn't it? A seemingly innocuous movie taken so seriously?

The upside is that people now throng to the little Idaho town to see the places shown in the movie. The town has made millions in tourist dollars that it never collected before.

Umm....climbers already come to Red River Gorge.

And the Blue Trailer isn't even there anymore.

I guess we're shit outta luck...no extra tourist dollars.
