Thanks all.

We were in the middle of nowhere - or more exactly "Long Canyon" - for most of the trip. It's a tributary canyon of the White Canyon complex, near where the Colorado meets and drains into Lake Powell south of Hanksville. We spent a little time around Moab too, and climbed a bit in Unaweep outside of Grand Junction. disco posted some pics of the climbing in Unaweep. It was a great trip. Spring in the desert is amazing. flowers growing out of nothing. beautiful. nobody goes where we went. petroglyphs, arrowheads, pictographs, and no trails!

wes, mostly yes, a few shots were with my old olympus digi, which died on this trip due to complications with a sand-storm that also ate a tent.

Yep. Most of it is 2-3 pitch stuff, beautiful valley, and good rock. Sunday Wall is the best wall in Unaweep, according to the locals.

Sweet Sunday Serenade is a 3 pitch 5.9, apparently its a classic.

This site has some good info...

A more detailed guidebook is Unaweep Rock, or something like that, by KC Baum. Might be out of print, but its out there.
