Thanks for the fantastic comments. I'll definitely call home, just relax while I'm there and enjoy my time. And I promise not to get knocked up or feed the goats.

I was definitely around in the fall, almost every weekend. I can't wait for this shitty Kentucky weather to clear up.

All climbing and no substance makes you a dull person.
C'mon, Lurk - we know kids move there for the drinking, camaraderie and definitely the sex.

lurk gets plenty of sex and love, the drugs are kind of old school though... maybe he is jealous...
geez, you'd think everyone would get behind lurk here and dissuade more people from moving to the red... we're trying to thin the crowds...

In furtherance of trying to keep it real, moving to Miguel's has little to do with actually climbing and more to do with seeking an inclusive non threatening lifestyle that enables folks to run from "real world".
How many people hanging at the Red actually climb that much? Yosemite had this pegged along time ago. It is called the "Valley Syndrome." Rise at 11, hang out drinking coffee until 1, head over to Degman's, and maybe have a few beers, and consider if you are going climbing.
I don't have a problem with hiding, just don't call it climbing.
