It's tempting what with that fever making you warm like a fresh pie or a roasted chicken.

3 Weeks ago I was in beautiful Asheville NC (on the couch in my sleeping bag) while my friends were out at Rumbling Bald. I still have a cough, and strength is still not quite there.
Then again, all it takes in 2 days getting your ass handed to you at Twall, with killer partners, climbing in tshirts and sun, and Lupi's pizza and NEwcastle on tap, sleeping in a house all weekend to make you forget all about it.

it could be worse...you could be living in Yosemite but haven't climbed in over a month cause everything is covered in wet melty drippy snow. But you cant go anywhere else cause you have no fucking money to fill up your gas tank to haul your ass down south. and the fastest internet connection you get is 28.8bps dial up. No tv, the only radio station you get is really scratchy NPR or Rush on the AM. It takes you 2 hours to get your truck up a 20' hill covered in snow. So all I do is sit around all day wondering why i decided to quit smoking at this point in my life. But I brought it all on to myself. So I guess I have to deal with it.....Shit on me. But I got Netflix.....thats my only saving grace.

Time to check your temperature. This'll only take ten minutes or so...
A friend of mine was on tour with his band recently and had the flu in California. They were touring in a 4 Runner pulling a trailer so he had to play a show every night and try to sleep in the back seat during the day.
