Rick and Liz don't plan on making money off of Muir. Mark didn't close Torrent to people with cash.

Back on topic: it would be nice if human nature were different. Being what it is (enough dog owners aren't adequately responsible), the dog ban makes a lot of sense. I love dogs, and dogs love to play in the woods, but if the Webers think that things aren't adequately working out, I trust their decision.

No, but he use the cash factor as a mechanism to limit climbers/rodents per day. Not relevant IMO.

Maybe a common sense quiz will be next. Anyone who doesn't understand how to behave outdoors gets banned. That would be nice.

i'm kinda psyched about the ban. no more malachi at the crag, which is sad, but it's worth it not to have certain dogs at climbing areas. if you don't train your dog properly, he/she shouldn't be at the crag.
