made it through SDF and LAS with no more than a wierd look. I got worried in louisville though cus they were taking a long time getting it through but it turned out that a strap from the bag was stuck.

on my trip to Thailand over the holidays, i checked my gear on the way out. but on the way back i packed my quickdraws and stuff in my carry-on.

no problems at the Krabi airport. in Bangkok, my bag got searched and the girl dumped everything onto the table looked at a couple of the draws and my Gri-Gri then said everything was okay. as i was stuffing everything back into my pack i noticed i forgot to separate out my Petzl folding knife thing into my checked luggage. luckily she didn't notice or know what it was. in Tokyo they made us go through security again for international flights and i was sweating that i would get searched again and i would lose my Spatha. bag went through the x-ray machine and i didn't get searched, have to admit i was surprised. the no liquids over xx amount seemed to be a big deal though.

yeah, I could probably do more damage with my #6 BD than I could with 10 ounces of most liquids. but I am sure as hell not telling them that.
