"Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening,
terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in
this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the
religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by
giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their
view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and
learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness;
chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself.
Think for yourself.
Question authority."-Timothy Leary

I think it would be prudent to include a discussion of what fascism consists of. Usually people jut thing it means nazi's and anti-semitism. Fascism is not the way you salute or who you hate, its a form of government that controls businesses and people 'for the national 'good' (or whatever 'good' the rulers decide is best for everyone).

Re: Fascism
Finally. My point is you couldn't debate your way out of a wet paper bag. The only thing you can do is insult the messenger, condemn the source, and accuse those that disagree with you of being brainless slugs. Just pick ONE of the points made and explain how it doesn't apply to this administration. You can't so you attack wildly at everyone and everything except the issue.L Day wrote:You make my case for me. The piece is mindnumbingly stupid. Anyone that thinks it's absolutely spot on wouldn't change their mind no matter how thoroughly the whole thing was debunked, so why bother?Alan Evil wrote:http://www.oldamericancentury.org/14pts.htm
This is nicely laid out but I am sure that a good debater could refute many of the comparisons drawn.

I've noticed that your posts seem to coincide directly with the frothing lunacy of Rush Limbaugh. Most notably your incoherent screed about how the "liberal media" wasn't reporting on the "success" of the surge. You might want to listen to the news report Limbaugh played an excerpt from before blowing snot about what the "liberal media" was or was not doing. It turns out he was playing an excerpt from an evening news segment about how violence was definitely down in Bagdad. I guess if you're an idiologue, nothing will ever satisfy you unless it comes from your own mouth.
