Dogs are not allowed in the State park. With or without lash.
damn, that really clears things up, given that there's no climbing allowed in KY State Parks either. Thanks for that kernel of wisdom so relevant to the topic. WTF is a lash anyhow?

And, really, let's just lay this one to rest. I love the climbing community 99% of the time, but when the dogs at the crag thread starts to include kids at the crag/compares my kids to your dogs, well, then I get really disillusioned ... of course, it isn't all about me, so if you must go there, I'll just move on...

i could definitely argue for a ruined day by a dog... eating my food, running across the rope, fighting with other dogs... it's a pain in the ass.
haven't met any kids i would put at that level of annoyance... it all comes down to how well people train their dogs, so i guess ultimately its the owners who annoy me

But my dog(s) behave better than my kid at the crag, so whats a guy to do? Oh, and my dad can beat up your dad.

Last time I was at Solar there were like eight fuckin dogs running over ropes, stirring up dust for people to choke on, yapping so no one could hear their belayer/climber and searching for yummy piles of shallow buried poo to eat. Yeah I love doggies! The more the better! Woo Hoo.

I think it's more important that we ban Mariah Carey at the crag. That's just plain offensive, wrong and ...nightmarish. I may never recover.
Jesus only knows that she tries too hard. She's only trying to keep the sky from falling.

OK, I limewired Mariah Carey because I see myself as the social antipode of Morgain. Whereas she is hard and spiny--a veritable human cactus, I am soft and thoughtful--a velvetine leaf of Sage, perhaps. She is vicious, biting and drawing blood from deep in the flesh if you take your eyes off her for a second . . . I would never do that. So, I thought I would give Mariah a try, and I have to agree . . . Mariah Carey is not climbing music. I can't get this stuff off my hard drive fast enough. It may not be anything music . . . . . . "Hero" might be ok . . . . :?

Man, I don't know. I try to time it so that I hit the crux right when she is hitting that ridiculously high note. It really pushes the sending power to the next level.
