I am thankful that while everyone in my office gets to go home early, I get to sit here practically by myself for another three hours checking RRC every three minutes just to pass the fucking time.
How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared
i am thankful that most of the people i work with 1. go to the same cult megachurch (cause then i dont have to see them on weekends) and 2. that they think they're better than me (so i dont have to do extra work)
My dad's cancer has made this year fucking suck. On a brighter note, I've had a pretty good year.....that irony makes me mad. I hate irony. I hate work. I hate working on Thanksgiving. HATE!
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
I hate that I am trapped in a dead-end job. my days are spent trying to placate unappreciative management who have successfully pigeonholed me. plus I hate working sequential 80 hour weeks for months at a time and that keeps me from spending more time with my kid.
