Diggler,

I guess this is a give and take world. I don't take bags at the grocery store; but when my life depends on it, I do give a few extra dollars to Black Diamond.

Powell,

Many things have changed since the review you have posted. I am pretty sure that the C4s are now lighter and have more range than the trango cams. And all of the C3s have bomber cam stops.

To all,

I would agree that BD is pricey, but there testing has proven them selves over the years. They make some of the lightest, smoothest, strongest equipment available on the market today. The C3s have greatly reduced the need for aliens in pin scars. The C3s have nearly taken nut placements away! When I am 50ft run out over a cam, I am quite thankful I spent the extra cash!

Why would you support a company that moves production to China to save money, but increases there prices to the consumer?
um, because we want them to make money and invest it in further research? just an idea......

Yeah; if you are 50 ft run-out, you shouldn't be thankful, you should be learning how to place gear!

Great! So fill us in! Don't leave us in the dark. I want the best gear possible. What kind of data do you have. Wait...

If you test gear 5 days a week how do you climb 208 days a year, just asking?
