Lining of the lung? No way. Perhaps you are stressing the external intercostal muscles --- Hugh? Maria? Aren't you guys going to weigh in on this discussion?

How high does your harness lift in the front when you're hanging? I remember getting some friction from mine when my feet spend more time in the air than on the rock.
Ticking is gym climbing outdoors.

sounds like abdominal muscle stress, try vitamin I and oh yeah stretch and warm up a bit more before dynoing off the dimes for the pisser vista
