Louisville area climber here. Pretty much a newbie though. I am considering getting a membership at hesters after my golds gym membership expires.

Most people say Rocksport is better for TR and Hesters is better for bouldering.

I'm down with climbing ANYWHERE, inside or out. Let me know what you got in mind anyone

I also paddle but mostly touring overnight backcountry style.

Both Rocksport and Hester's are decent gyms. Both have bouldering. Hesters leams a lot more towards bouldering, and although I haven't been there in a while, they usually have a ton of good stuff up. Rocksport has lead, tr, and some bouldering, but there's not as many taped problems as as Hester's. But you can get a good workout in their cave without ever tying in, just make some stuff up.

damn Brandon, what the hell did you come back here for?!?!?!?!

I bought a dozen passes to RS about 4 or more years ago and still have 5 left. It's always fun when I make myself go, but it's a gym so by definition it sucks.

Hey, if you use your passes on the same night I use mine, imagine the possibilities. :wink:
