There should be loads for sale there. On another topic though, I heard from a reliable source that a well known country singer from Butcher Holler has been contacted in the native's never-ending attempt to turn the stretch from MTN. Parkway to Lee County into the next Gatlinburg. They're trying to get her to do a version of Dolly-wood or some such crap. So, BUY ALL OF THE LAND THAT YOU CAN AND DON'T SELL!!!!

I heard something about that too at miguels this weekend. I've noticed that Miguel is getting worn out by the whole climbing scene. I guess most folks would after a while. I remember some 5 years ago he looked psyched about the whole deal. However, it now seems like his passion for the scene has left a little. It would be financially smart for him, if he is getting worn out, to invest in the kind of folks who need less supervision.
As for the upcoming version of dolly wood, I refuse to believe that crap. Who the heck is your source, miss Lawyer chick. Yeah, it seems like in every beautiful place they have to create an environment for those with the terminal illness of consumerism. But in the red, come on girl. What you talkin bout?

Are you talking to me? You doubting Moostafah!
Word is out around here that the Ms. Tobacco lawyer is an avid climber interested in the goings on down there. My source happens to be a representative from that area who spent time in our illustrious capitol last week working his legis. behind off. He's pretty incensed about the whole idea and doesn't know whether Ms. Lynne will bite. He's also pretty upset about the fact that none of the other representatives give a fig about Eastern KY and what happens. They're just planning to ship more oxycodone to the area and hope it reaches the developers

"Ms. Lynne"? Loretta Lynne? You've GOT to be kidding?!?

No way man. It's the only real live country star we got here in ol Kaintuck. They definitely couldn't get Mr. Back Street Boy to do it. They were hoping that since Loretta Lynne is from a holler over that way, she'd shell out some cash, sing a few tunes and take a few turns on the Gravitron to help out her poor hillbilly cousins. Like I said though, this is just in the "let's see if we can get Loretta to bite" phase. Apparently, she and Do Lynne are in semi-retirement. The guy I spoke with was all up in arms about it though. He's never quite sure what they'll be able to pull off.

How preliminary of a phase is it? I just got an email from a friend who went to the gorge yesterday. He usually waits to fill up his water at the Nada spring. When he arrived, some construction workers were breaking ground. He said there was a small sign that said "future home of Nada Springs Water Co".
Anybody know anything about this? I'm getting worried now!

I didn't hear about this. I have to go to Louisville right now on a tobacco case but I'll give my contact a call and find out what the hell is up. This is BAD NEWS. Damn I wish I had real political clout. I can only collect info.
