and reardon did fall at least twice, once on tape. he was alright and walked away only slightly hobbled.

The list of things he did is mind numbing. Under ascents it shows he soloed 280+ routes in a 24 hours period, with a third ranging from 5.9 - 5.13a. I've had a good day if we do 12 pitches.

Damn strong climber (stronger than I'll ever be!) and at least he went out climbing, which is about as good as it gets!

Plus, he didn't die soloing in a US National Park, which helps keep the "all climbers are crazy and have a death wish" attitude down among land managers.
