One of my co-workers is demanding to know how he got up there in the first place. Aid? Sport? Free solo?

A nice Borat high five to all involved. Very nice!

actually, you should name him Clifton, bc that is what Cliff, aka Dog Whisperer, the human is actually named. :) But if you want to make him mad call him CLifford!!

What a great post to read tonight!

I love my climbers! :D
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

The dog was at the palisades. By the way Joe described the cliff, it was tiered and sloped. The dog couldn't get up or down. Their guess was that he rolled off the top and landed on the ledge.

Ahhh that is a good story, made for TV, wished I had seen this thread yesterday to catch this event as it unfolded.

There are several spots along the Palisades where you (or any four legged friends) can gain access to ledge systems that allow you to scramble out along the cliffs. There is a spot downriver from the US 68 bridge on the Mercer Co side where several goats wander the ledges along the cliffs picking weeds, briars, etc. Evidently they come and go as they please (unlike Clifford) so catching them up there 'grazing' is quite a site to see.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
