Do TR's count? I think they should not, but if so, then only for 1/2 credit.
I second that motion(!) and think that if you don't hang your own draws that should really only count for 3/4 of points. I mean, if we are going balls to the wall, lets put our balls to the wall.

You're right pigsteak, I am all about the numbers and my score, esp when my score is higher than yours. You got all winter to catch up while I am in semi-retirement.

The spray list and this new addition is all about proveing who is cooler than who and who is the coolest of then all.

the difference in enjoyment and value for a climb is a lot different in lead vs. tr as opposed to hanging draws vs. not. now, if you wanted to argue for a sliding scale, onsight vs. flash vs. attempt x.. then that, in my opinion, would be more legit.

i've never rode on a motorcycle.. but i'd bet that they would argue the same thing about motorcycle vs. car.. it's not that one is necessarily better than the other.. one's just more fun and adds more to the experience. again, just my stupid little opinion, though.

I'm all for the toprope deduction. I also think we should add a few points for trad leads. How about that?

however rhunt, you have three things to be worried about:

1)as soon as Curbside and The Surf go online, I will have 20 more routes to spray about. you are soooo screwed in the cool kid championship.

2)once SCIN subtracts points for all your Tina Toprope "sends", I may never have to climb another route.

3) All the 5.13 onsights I've done in the 16 months I've lived in KY have been piles anyway, so I decided to not report them. they were at super secret crags you've never heard of anyway, so I didn't want to waste your time. But once the Red has been my home crag for 10 years, I expect my list to pass Power2U and SCIN combined. They may be tough harleys, but no match for quantity over quality.

Sit back in your retirement years, and enjoy the show as us young guns crank up the heat.
