Some shoes smell worse than others. I have a hard time quantifying it, but any shoe that has any synthetic elastic stuff, tends to smell really bad.
A friend of mine had a pair of reebok climbing shoes that he absolutely loved...but we were very very happy when he stopped being able to find them because they stunk so bad. It was the material used. Now that he mostly uses 5.10 his shoes don't stink nearly as bad.
Harness stink could be the same issue.
I'd look at your shoes and harness closely and compare them with other people's equipment that you know (who don't have a stink problem). You'll probably notice some different materials used. If not, you might just want to try showering from time to time, it helps.
What's that skanky smell?

I'd rather stink then give up my steak. next your going to tell me beer makes people fat.skychick wrote:Stop eating red meat. I swear that my foot/body odor is worse when I've been chowing down on succulent steak, beefy burgers and barbeque brisket. When I slowed down on the red meat, my climbing shoes actually started smelling better.
