i've been warned....and what i learned on this website last week, i can now say..
oh, SNAP!!!!
I wish this site had been shut down!
Tamara, I know the drama can get thick on here and that the way we treat one another can make you heartsick at times. But when you have a tight-knit social group with such diversity and passion, my experience shows me that you also get a whole lot of conflict. Then you get a period of resolution and cooperation. It's kind of like burning down parts of a forest to stimulate new growth. Sometimes groups have to have emotional hashing out of situations to heal and get stronger.
At least that's my opinion. It just seems exacerbated on this site. But all in all, this site does way more good then harm, again, in my opinion.

Jesus only knows that she tries too hard. She's only trying to keep the sky from falling.

are you saying there's something wrong with those 1/4" button heads out west? i always thought those were bomber!Sandy wrote:only sport weenies get freaked about loose bolts. They've never placed 'emotional pro' and probably never climbed at Joshua Tree, either.
Sandy, if you've come up with some sort of emotional pro that actually works, you need to get a patent on that stuff right away, you're gonna be rich quick.
I have yet to actually use any of the emotional pro i've run across, the worries about bad flesh-rock interactions and other side effects keep me from using it even when i have the opportunity.
P.S. yes, i have been scared on a sport route. call me a weenie if ya want (the few loose bolts i've encountered never really bothered me that much though)
