More news on a lexington facility should be forthcoming in the next 1-2 months.

Yeah, a group of us has gotten UK to let us put holds on the underside of Commonwealth Stadium. As soon as the holds are up, we will be allowed to climb there M-F from 3-8 except the Fridays before football games.

I'd be more likely to hit a gym in Lexington than I would to drive to Richmond. After a long day of work I'd much rather swing by a gym in Lexington than drive out of my way to climb in a gym. I'm pretty lazy like that.

If run well, I think gym in Lexington would work. Search the threads on this site for all the lurid details of climbing gym-less Lex-Vegas!
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

in the next few months, we will be soliciting feedback from climbers on what they want to see in their gym. dream big.

i will have a questionnaire that can be filled out, and returned for climbing credit at the new facility.

email me at redpoint13@hotmail.com if you'd like to receive the questionnaire when it comes out.

again, it'll be early april for this.

What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.
