Yeah. We invaded Germany and Japan, too. And what's this? You drag out one quote from one person and think it voids any humanitarian purpose in Iraq? Just incredible.
Saddam was a monster. When he invaded Kuwait he gave us a chance to step in and squish him like a bug. Do you honestly think that Iraq would have been better off with Saddam still in power?
This weekend I read an article in National Geographic about how Iraq is recovering from Saddam, how people are actually crossing borders to come back into Iraq, and about how happy the people are that he's gone.
I guess since some left-wing hack like Noam Chomsky didn't write the article, it's obviously just US propaganda, isn't it?

The fucker wanted to be President of the United States of America, and he got what he wanted. It's the highest elected office in the country, shouldn't he be held to the highest standards?

Are you talking about the "highest standards" set by that panty sniffing f*ck that disgraced the office before him. W can't hold a candle (or a cigar) to the low bar set by the former occupant.

I was under the impression that people were crossing the borders back into Iraq to shoot at Americans. It must be the false imprisonment and then torture of Iraqis that you are pointing to when you mention humanitarian aid.

come on zspider..politics only matter in today's news.
phish fans as dirtbags? hardly...that is the biggest college frat band known to mankind. ok, so string chees incident had them beat for awhile.
funny how you think my friend..anyone who has a nice car must be a trust baby. ever heard of hard work, disciplined savings, a good education, and delaying gratification in other areas? not everyone fits your tainted mold.
now I'll show my ignorance..what does the EPA or minig regulations have to do with climbers? be specific. illuminate me. aren't we buying a property somewhere in the southern region that has black gold dripping out the seems and rusting cables lying everywhere to trip us up? are we doing anything to hold that oil company responsible, or is that also W's fault?
touche on the white as white comment. I was talking about political ideologies, but your point is well taken.
of all the raging libs on here, tomdarch is the only one who even comes close to hitting the nail. bush has been a master of his own domain, as was clinton. sly foxes nabbing the ultimate prize. well done boys. you fooled us all.

These threads are so stupid. If one person reads these post and decides hey ballyhoo69 is right George Bush is a swell guy then I'd be pretty suprised. If you want to talk politics its best to do it with people who are like minded.

Perhaps it is my arrogance but I believe that Bush is nothing more than a prop. Yes, he was smart enough to stay out of discussions involving real issues to allow himself to be used as a prop and thus acheive the presidency. I think this takes a lot of MONEY and a willingness to dummy yourself down but not necessarily intelligence. Yes, he and others scooted by at Yale. If you have the money, you will be given a diploma. That may be cynical but I believe it's true. All that to say, I truly don't believe he is intelligent. Perhaps an above average IQ but that's all.

Sadly, this is very true. The purported liberal "open mind" is a fantasy.

Before you cast aspersions on another's character in this case, you should look in the mirror.
