No kidding, if people talking to you is the difference between you sending or not then I don't know what to tell you. People shout beta to me all the time, sometimes it helps, sometimes I do something different out of spite, sometimes it's completely off base for the way I climb. My solution is selective hearing and I didn't think it was such a magic trick.
