Ok I wasn't going to hype the movie we are premiereing becuase I am in it and to do so seemed sort of cheesy. But now that I have seen it, I have to hype it.
No Permanent Address is the story of Aaron Blacks's first ascent of an undiscovered big wall up in Canada. The route he sends is called call of the Granite and goes at 5.12 A1. The movie is the story of the 6 month roadtrip Aaron took leading up to the climb. And it is awesome.
If you like crack climbing there is brilliant footage of indian creek and the valley, if you want to see some sweet sport climbing there is footage of the radness that is El Portrero Chico in Mexico. For those psyched on bouldering there are sections in Hueco and Bishop, some classic problems and some that are less known.
And for Ray and Kris and anyone else who likes the wide cracks there is footage of Brother from a Another Planet in Indian creek, a sick off-width roof.
The footage is of the highest quality. Aaron who produced the movie is a really accomplished climbing photographer with many cover shots including the photo annual a few years back. His goal was to try to make every shot in the movie look like a high quality photo. So the cinematography is definately awesome.
The film features a wide crew of traveling climbers that Aaron has befriended over the year pulling at their limit.
Oh and did I mention O-dub himself is on the soundtrack.
So come down, support the local community, listen to some bluegrass and check out a rad new climbing movie!

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
