Ok I wasn't going to hype the movie we are premiereing becuase I am in it and to do so seemed sort of cheesy. But now that I have seen it, I have to hype it.

No Permanent Address is the story of Aaron Blacks's first ascent of an undiscovered big wall up in Canada. The route he sends is called call of the Granite and goes at 5.12 A1. The movie is the story of the 6 month roadtrip Aaron took leading up to the climb. And it is awesome.

If you like crack climbing there is brilliant footage of indian creek and the valley, if you want to see some sweet sport climbing there is footage of the radness that is El Portrero Chico in Mexico. For those psyched on bouldering there are sections in Hueco and Bishop, some classic problems and some that are less known.

And for Ray and Kris and anyone else who likes the wide cracks there is footage of Brother from a Another Planet in Indian creek, a sick off-width roof.

The footage is of the highest quality. Aaron who produced the movie is a really accomplished climbing photographer with many cover shots including the photo annual a few years back. His goal was to try to make every shot in the movie look like a high quality photo. So the cinematography is definately awesome.

The film features a wide crew of traveling climbers that Aaron has befriended over the year pulling at their limit.

Oh and did I mention O-dub himself is on the soundtrack.

So come down, support the local community, listen to some bluegrass and check out a rad new climbing movie!

The trailer is good and the movie is better than the trailer!!!!!

The movie isn't going to be released for sale for a few more weeks but I think Matt and Amy are planning on having some copies for sale at Red River Outdoors.

Thanks Matt and Amy for putting on a great event!
The charity, food, movie and music were awesome!
There was quite a donation pile so thanks to everyone who donated too.

Good times. The stairs to Roadside Attraction are a reality. The food drive was a success. And the movie is first rate. I'm waiting patiently till I get a copy.

Good times, good food, good people. And to think we all got together and had some fun for a good cause.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

That was a great event. It is so good we raised so much food. Mad props to everyone who donated. and mad special props to paul who came by red river outdoors and dropped of a huge amount of food even though he couldn't make the party in the evening.

It was great seeing everyone there too.
