We had planned to block (at least temporarily) the wrong paths with an old climbing rope and a couple small "please... " signs. I'll try to get back there sometime this week.

I wonder if a sign would do the trick. They would see it when they come up and remember it.

Global is on USFS land so any proposed trail work would need to be reviewed by them. This is one of the only areas not affected by LAC so doing some trail work there is not out of the question.

Digging into the archives, found this Roadside Trail Day that a few of us put together in '05.

The weather was just perfect as the 22 eager volunteers helped spruce up the trail leading to Roadside Attraction with some heavy duty steps made out of bolted treated wood, rocks, etc. The beginning of the trail was also upgraded with some steps and water breaks. Most of the work was done in approximately 5 hours - afterwards, some of the volunteers enjoyed a couple of the classic climbs at Roadside Crag.

Thanks to all who came and supported this endeavor. Climbers that care rock! :D

Amazing how six years can age a person (meaning me). That was a fun day! I miss those times for sure!
