J-Rock, dude, I fell there too!! Instead of just running it up to the slab. I was intent on placing gear about ten feet off of the ground. If I had've just run it up to a stance I never would have fallen. lesson learned.

Ultra, you fell where? thanks i feel a lot better. i spent my first weekend out at the red in a long time. it was good to be back out, but im still weak as shit.

backside of marquette mtn:
- 1st year trad leading
- 2nd time climbing route
- had just read john long book/how 2 climb/read how to tie-off
flake features.
- 1st time ever tied off flake for pro at mid-point of route
- climbed to top of route, arrived at belay and promptly pitched off
for 80'+ fall, ripped all gear except for tied-off flake.
- started reading more
