in your guide? oh, i didn't realize that he took the info from your guide, guess that should've been pretty obvious. sorry for pointing out "one more mistake" from the guide. i haven't really looked at it yet but i'm excited about picking one up.

Hey Folks.

Some background on the article. It had originally been planned to be written last spring/summer and go into print last fall. At the time there were the infamous parking/access issues with Charmane oil so i suggested to the editors that the article be postponed till that situation was resolved. While writing the article i realized that the new guidebook was being prepared and contacted Dave Pegg to see if we could somehow incorporate the work he and Ray had done into the article and in turn raise the profile of their guidebook. This we hoped would get more folks buying the book - especially since some of proceeds from the sale were going to such worthy causes. What you see in the article is a very edited version of what was originally written so that the magazine could hit space/page limitations. The original unedited article is also available. If anyone is interested in that, simple PM me and i'll email it to you.

isn't that picture of the unknown climber at the darkside on page 30 really a picture of jersey connection at roadside crag?

Hey H,

I think you are right!
Maybe the wrong picture got published. It sure does not look like any of the routes i remember at the Darkside.

fuck you two in the ass. i just want to see nothing but good things come for the climbing community of the red river gorge. go rot in fucking hell you rotting pieces of dogshit. why don't you give back to the community you fucking liberals. oh sure, "i'm ray and i'm real cool because i wrote a fucking guidebook", and "i'm hugh and bad to the bone because i bolted some routes that tight-wearing faggots think are cool". you should both get a job, quit fucking your "girl of the month", and do something productive with your putrid little lives.
