Okay, I'll remember a head lamp. What is a spork? And when are you guys going next, anybody going this weekend?

This is a spork:
I'm heading out to Clack to boulder Saturday at some time with my girlfriend. Mainly breaking in some resoled shoes and getting one good workout before classes begin again.

Where is Clack and why a spork? I could see a spork would come in handy as a belay device if the rope were thinner. You would thread the rope through the three spork teeth and then around the handle, perhaps.
You could eat with it after, if you survived.

the spork/foon is for eatin'! Clack is Clack Mtn. near Morehead. Probably one of the best concentrations of boulders in Eastern KY that is better known.

The Chinese came up with the spork because it was more efficient than than spoon and fork and "better" than chopsticks for eating. This was back in during the Cold War. I still remember a piece about it on the evening news in the late 70's and then, not six months later, KFC had sporks in the little package with the napkin and salt and pepper. Stupid Chinese utensils.

Hmmm... I swore I saw something about sporks being used back in the Revolutionary War, but I can't find anything on line to prove it.
