I ran out of draws leading Three Sheets to the Wind (@ NRG)... started using the wires from my nuts as slings.

Works in a pinch.

I've forgotten lots of stuff on routes. Usually its big gear. Ahh I don't need the number four....damn this is kinda wide....toss up the number four. I learned that one from watching Team Yo-Yo, nobody can lob cams like those two.
Also Tri-cam slings work well too, not that I'd know...

Try climbing on no sleep for nearly every weekend for over 3 years. Actually if you include the summers than it was for more than 10 years since that was my summer job also. That's what I had to do when I was working the night shift at Subaru in Lafayette. Driving through the night to a far away crag and climbing as soon as I got there. Most of the time we would climb at least 10 different routes and I always wanted to keep going, it was the others who were usually worn out and I never quite understood how they could be so tired when I was the one who skipped a night of sleep and did all of the driving. I was crankin' hard back then too and climbing was more important to me than sleep. And it still is... Several of my old climbing partners hated the schedule, but they usually slept most of the time anyway. I think that Caspian and Ritwik were the only ones who ever stayed awake with me and they were also the ones with the most energy and motivation. Thanks guys.
