I know how to use a drill but, like most guys, I don't have any idea how to scrub.
I'd be down for a route if the time is right.

We were surprised by the poor turnout last year at the MPP bolting clinic. There was even free food, a manual, and the one "student bolter" was able to do some drilling and two FAs. Maybe the destructive bolt testing this year will be worth a visit!
Personally I like trundling big boulders and watching them explode on impact (although I've now learned not to drop them on my rope).

I like where this is going. Count me in for the bolting clinic at Muir and if it is okay with the Coalition et al (Ryan and Dr. Bob) I am down for assisting with the bolt fest. Also, I would propose dovetailing a bit of trail maintenance into the day at the Vol Wall. There is a steep bit of trial under a few slab 5.10s (that are really good) that needs reinforcing/ steps before it becomes a sluce.

Free beer? Free bourbon? Bluegrass? I can see the headlines already...
Beer, bourbon, bluegrass, and bolting! Kentucky syle!

We could drag a mini keg back there LOL but i dont think that bolting and drinking go hand in hand.

I think it would cool if there was an un-offical policy of contributing x dollars or y hours to the preserve for the privlage to climb there. Like pay your 40 a year or put in 8 hours of trail work. Seems pretty fair to me. Right now far to much of the burden is being carried by to few people.
