Thanks, J-Rock-- I updated the comments for Rebel Branch to reflect that. And the signs are very helpful for those who accidentally hike to Lower Tantroft... who does that??

Thanks Yasmeen, that was a good idea. There are also comments in the actual route descriptions, but many people probably don't read all of them. Anyway, J.J. and I made the signs and corduroy helped us put them up. (J.J. was drinking a beer, while operating the router, when we noticed that the second "N" was backwards). There will be more in the future... The materials were paid for thanks to donations from many kind individuals. We owe many thanks to all those who have helped us along the way! :D

Oh yeah, J.J. also put up two more routes over at Sunnyside (on the pinnacle) last weekend. They will be added to the online guide tonight.

To get the thread back on track...

ED, check out Muir Valley and hike down the trail to Rebel/Ponder/Hatton/etc. Halfway down the trail, there is a chunk of rock with two very visible anchors (about 8 ft from the ground). This is the best place to learn how to clean anchors. Let us know when you are down at MV and if we're gonna be there too, we'll be more than happy to do this with you.

Good luck!

Well certainly not people who know better than to think that directions really mean what they say.
For goodness sake! What a difference a parking lot makes.

You go forward, I go backward....whatever!
