Dude, what you said was just rude and insensitive. The other people were speaking fondly of the foibles of this man or repeating a rumor they've heard (and stated as such). Can you see the difference? Your last sentence shows you actually might. There's a time to be a flaming asshole and a time to keep quiet.

this is sad new for me. I didn't read all the comments in this thread, because it looks to have degraded (as usual). I can only speak to my own experiences with The Mayor. He was a cutie. I told him this one day, and he lit up with a huge grin. He was always a gentleman to me and a pleasure to chat with. I know he didn't live the clean life, but I am sad to hear of his passing. I was very fond of The Mayor. May he rest in peace.

Either way, I will remember him as a human being that had a good smile, and who actually got off his chair to greet me when I entered his office.
Does any one know some real facts yet?

His name is Rodney Tucker and the sad thing is that he was asking when the movie was coming out with him in it at the Cheveron.

Rest in peace good friend. The Mayor of Slade will be missed by many, but not soon forgotten.

So sad. I waved at him everytime I passed by and I think it made him smile. I remember one time I was with Joe and we gave him and his friend a ride back from the beer trailer with two cases of beer at 11:00 in the morning. He was a nice guy who lived a hard life.
