I thinking alot of people will agree that alot of what attracts them to climbing is because it is such a great oppertunity to push yourself not only physically but mentally. Hence Training.

I totally agree. Guess I just didn't think of it as training but I understand.

Overlord rocks! I hadn't been there since it was set a couple of years ago. Who would have thought that a route like that would have been under everybody's nose for so long? Nice moves like D said , not pumpy -but a thinking person's route - very cool. Did Terry K set that one?

FYI, those routes are at Left Flank. Not trying to be annal, just trying to educate as to where you were climbing. No for the next test, do you know who owned the land you were climbing on?

Sounds like kek-san has watched "O Brother Where Art Thou" a few times.

Oh yeah what I got on...
Two planks and cold, wet, white stuff. The weather at White Grass was absolutely perfect. The trails were a little icy to start the day, but held up really well despite the warm temps. The snow up high was REALLY good. Saturday we ventured up into the Dolly Sods. Skiing in a t-shirt in Feb, in a wilderness area....now that is my idea of winter!

Lexi and I went to global village, and did Vision, KY pinstrupie, and jake flake. And listened to giant spears of ice fall down with a giant rumble. It was great.

We heard ice crashing all day yesterday.Sounds almost like trees falling.Ran into old friends at WOD,made a movie, got some sends, had some laughs. It's nice to get out in the forest along the river. Someone must have tossed the deer bones over the hill,he wasn't there anymore.Poor guy took a dirt nap from topside.

We had some fairly big chunks of ice we were gawking at fall on the trail where we were standing about an hour later. One needs to stay alert about what's above you with all of this loose ice.
