now come on..do we need to start a poll of how many climbers on here will admit to illegal drug use? it's rampant. why hide the obvious?
What? Climbers and drugs? That's crazy talk! We're all totally straightedge!
Now, if the Red River Gorge was located in the center of a region known for pot growing, or Yosemite was in the cultural orbit of the most drugged out city in America, then you'd have a point. But seeing as how there's no pot growing in eastern Kentucky, and San Francisco is squeaky clean, where would climbers get drugs in the first place?
Back on topic: Wild Iris - great sport, nice area. Yosemite - uh, duh! Southern Illinois - has it charms! Red Rocks, NV - nice sport and long trad, plus you can sleep in a hotel room!
