chainsaw is ok. I think it's a most do for anyone tryin to break through to that 5.12 grade. It'll teach you a lot about how to climb efficiently, how to recover on moderate holds, how to control fear when you have hard anchor clips, etc. My first big lead fall was on Chainsaw, I fell with lots of rope out tryin to clip the anchors. Get on it and see what YOU think and don't worry about what we think.

Yep rhunt. He's up to his old habits. "look at me I'm piggie and I make climbing rules. if you don't climb like me then you aren't a real climber."

Good to see you back around to rhunt-boy.

Do you guys remember that awful hit song called "New Age Girl" by some friends of mine called Dead Eye Dick? The refrain was:

"She don't eat meat but she sure loves the bone."

And people wondered why the second album was lame.

Thanks for answering my question, by the way. I can see how if it sort of defines a certain type of 5.12 and I'm guessing you're saying if you can do that climb it means you have the strength (maybe not the style) to do any 5.12a. Got it.

It's a good training route. You know, like going to the gym and pumping iron. Nothing too crazy such that you'ld hurt yourself. But after you do it, you're definetly stronger.

ok rhunt and sprag,

no bacon in a healthy diet???? how insane is that?

sprag, when you hang on MY routes, could you please put the 12 inch tick marks back, AND clean the jugs?

rhunt forgot to tell you, as well, that you don't get the send on chainsaw unless you clip the chains with a, what do you cheesey sport climbers call it, a "rose clip".....yes, a rose clip and it has to be executed left handed.

any more questions on the legality of the sport?

Yeah, the rose clip! Just make sure your belayer gives you enough slack, otherwise you might meet him at the first bolt!
