Thanks Rick! A lung full of lichen dust, bloody knuckles and hernia to boot! But I have loved every minute of it.

Thanks Rick! We are extremely grateful for the opportunity and looking foward to adding another hundred or so routes next year (lichen lungs, bloody knuckles, hernias, damaged eyeballs, injured feet and all). There will easily be well over 100 routes by the end of the year. We couldn't thank you enough. Also, your help cleaning some of these routes and keeping us motivated is greatly appreciated. I live for the weekends at Muir! Lots of work, but worth every minute of it!

Yeah! What t-bone and J-Rock said!
No, really, thanks a bunch, Rick and Liz! You've given so much and yet you keep giving more and more... we are all looking forward to the gathering!

Who would have thought that Annie would get such a work out?

If you ask me, Annie needs some lovin'.... a little bit of dusting and some lube for the bits. Jared also needs to remember to place her off to the side before throwing down chunks of rocks while cleaning routes!

Hey I would never hurt my baby! Annie is precious to me! I love that drill. The Annihilator has never been hit by a rock.

Hey. I took a group from EKU down to the Great Wall on Saturday, and the routes that we did were all great. IROP was fun for the brand-new-never-climbed-outdoors-before students. We did Moots, and that was super challenging at the bottom for them, but most got it. the 11 to the left of that was fun (i had the worst style ever pulling the bulge... hand jams way under there, all crammed up in the hole), Boltergeist was one of the best routes I've done in the Gorge, and the other couple of routes we did in the coridor were fun too. What an awesome day in a great place. Thanks ya'll. That big tree above the corridor is awesome!! Anyway, give yourselves another pat on the back!!

Sounds like you guys had a great time! Were you able to make it all the way to the actual Great Wall (Ledgends of Limonite to La Escalada)? There are some great routes there too!
FYI, the combination to the locked gate can be found somewhere in the Muir Valley website. It is also posted on the bulletin board/kiosk at the main parking lot.

Hey Mayor, glad to hear that you guys had a great time! Many more quality routes are on the way. There are several new ones almost every weekend.
