I'll vote for Joe, it would be nice to see an outsider spice up the so called "inner circle".
I'm with Mia. Joe will definitely add some spice...and maybe encourage the CAC to have a real voice in the Coalition. I'm sure that J-Rock will too. That's awesome to have so many eager and active people.

I am thinking about running. I've been climbing for a couple of years. Does it take good climbing experience to be on the comittee? I can spot a great climb from a mile away. I have climbed for only two years but can onsite up to 5.10c sport and 5.9 crack climbs. If I keep training as hard as I am than maybe I can push the edge of 5.10 crack climb and 5.11 by the time of the voting. Will I have a chance to get on the comittee if I am climbing those ratings by then?

I have a lot of input into how to organize team climbing events from the boys club that I work at. I also do corporate trust building events. I know plenty of knots and keep up with the newest climbing gear on the market (speaking of which, has anyone used the Squid yet????).

I think I could be a great addition to the comittee. :D

Great! I will run then.
I do climb hard though. Don't talk to me like I don't.

I do climb hard though. Don't talk to me like I don't. Everyone will remember me when I am stronger than most climbers you have ever seen. You will remember me as the man who pushes the limits of his physical existence to supercede any hint of deteriation in athletic performance. I am 32 now and I have the body of an 18 year old. I have the strength of an ox and will transition that strength to my climbing abilities. All I have left is a couple years of technique building and I will be stronger than almost anyone.
Now, who's your daddy? 8)

I think the most important qualities for a CAC candidate are maturity, thoughtfulness, determination, and a genuine love of the Red.
