So Gretchen, it's okay to verbally attack someone if you're provoked? Who decides what is provoked:?:
What if i said i think you're full of crap, that I wish you'd stop being a spokesperson for the RRGCC or at least add a freakin disclaimer to your messages that says "the opinion expressed herein is not necessarily the opinion of all the rest of the RRGCC." cuz sometimes sister, you spray some wickedly wrong stuff that i disagree with completely and you need to qualify your remarks with something!
Is that provokin'?
Yipes, now i'm getting to that "damn skippy" point that Horatio mentioned!

I never insulted your intelligence gretchen. I said swearing is "often" a sign of stupidity. I didn't intend to say that was your case. I've enjoyed our conversations, as limited as they have been, and i appreciate directness, but here you've gotten riled up a bit over something I didn't even do, just because i may not have correctly communicated here on the stupid internet.
Do you use gross profanity outloud in a public place where you KNOW that everyone can hear you? If not, then you in fact DO care what others think and I feel that level of respect is owed to the bbs community as well.
Ray... still, is it democratic when you choose the voters?

I don't care and don't give a flying fuck if it's democratic or not.
I'm letting people on slowly because this shit is sitting on a Pentium 233 Mhz with a 50 Mhz MySQL server for a backend dead smack in my living room running off a dynamic DNS'd DSL connection.

then why not wait on the polling until it's out in the open? or why not just leave it up to the moderators?
