Interstate transportation of Firearms United States Code, TITLE 18, section 926A

In addition:
You may carry a weapon within the national forest as long as it is not concealed.
I could give you a few reasons why that website sucks. While I don't know any more about this whole body found thing than anybody else who has posted let me pose a theory or two. How did the gentleman die?! Was he shot? If so was it self inflicted? That might not be obvious until an autopsy is done. Maybe he died of a heartattack. He was the right age for something like that. Could've been out walking around in the woods huntin' snipe, ginsing, or looking for a place to plant his crop and BAM! Stricken by a heartattack. And if he was murdered maybe the body was dumped out there. So until you hear a cause of death, or where the death occured, is there really any reason to worry?
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Dipsi, one guy was found in Lee County and the other was found in a different county. I don't think they are related.
Steve, while your assumption might be correct, I think it is pretty lame of that news site to pull something from the wire when they can drive a few miles and investigate for themselves. Suck factor times 2. They must be dropping readers like BULLETS... speaking of which,

I was told a long time ago when I signed up for my personal protection permit that I was not allowed to carry my handgun across state lines, into a school, into a bank, or into any government building (what I found interesting is that you can't carry a gun into a post office). Given the poor credability of police officiers from Indiana speaking on gun laws, I will definately look into the law you posted.
