GWG, I think that "ohshitho" was a Shawnee word for "stupid white people who live on north side of big river".

I once saw the area where Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky meet referred to as Ohinky.

Nothing there ,but a bird sanctuary. The park above it is kinda cool.Indians lived there for at least 10,000 years without messing it up. Now there's power lines and highways everywhere.

I wonder which side is Ohinky? Kentucky, Ohio, or Indiana? :? Maybe it is the middle of the river...

in Louisville, the local news stations refer to this area as "Kentuckiana." I always thought it should be "Indiucky."
