Nah, hire a local to make sure the thimble is full in the world's smallest steam engine.

Mapquest gives a fairly good map. I think that it may even have the gravel roads on it. If you set Torrent as your city within a few clicks you get right down on Big Andy Ridge Rd.

I just saw this post! Rick and Liz, you two are awesome! Thank you so much-- how wonderful to know there's a place at the Red where we can always feel welcome to climb!

I think the cookout sounds like a blast! I can't wait to meet you both and thank you in person. Your generosity is very refreshing. :D

Here is a link that has both topo maps and aerial photos of the area. Those of you who are more familar with the area maybe able to put more use to it then I could.

Muir Valley --Important notice

Post by weber »

Important Notice

At this time, anyone wishing to visit Muir Valley should first contact Rick or Liz Weber. We were down there a few days ago, and found the last half mile of private road knee deep in mud and impassable. Also, there is no provision for parking yet on the property. We hope to make improvements as soon as possible.

Please feel free to contact us at any time.

just wondering what was up with the website? It took me to some auto site which had nothing to do with climbing?
