The www.rrgcc.org web site was down yesterday. I want to re-assure people that it has absolutely nothing to do with its update. The site is still untouched, and all the updates, re-design etc... are taken place in the background.

No one knows exactly why the site was down for a good part of Wed, but again: one has nothing to do with the other. Talk about a freaky thing - you tell me when loosing a site for several hours has been pleasant.

In either case, I contacted its webmaster, and the problem has been fixed. The site is back and running WITH brand new information.

The re-design to follow in the next couple of months.

Yes, things are certainly going forward! The efforts of many volunteers, blind followers (Jeff  ), etc. are paying off. Some good posting activity going on over at the RRGCC forum including an exciting announcement of a new private area opening up soon.

Sorry about my earlier comment - I didn't mean to add pressure to an already anxious situation!

In a different thread, Merrick made the suggestion that ideally, the site would be simple, fast loading and standards compliant. I just want to second his comment. Fancy Flash stuff has it's place (like www.thered.org - great stuff! but I would nitpick some of the current font choices ) but it isn't ideal everywhere.

It's a news story a minute over at http://www.rrgcc.org lately. It is posted over there that a $7,500 grant for the Murray Property has been obtained from the Access Fund. Way to go!
