Alan - you and I agree on a lot of stuff, but the 'nya nya! fbbbblllltttt!' aspect to this thread is pretty lame. (But, honestly, I won't miss the really negative aspect of a lot of Joe's postings)
Given the circumstances, I strongly support this second banning of Joe/JH/dirt, but because I've met Joe in person, this whole thing really sucks for me. In person, he's likable enough, so I can't quite figure out why he 'behaved' the way he did here. He certainly gave the impression that he knew what he was doing and asking for what he got, so, oh well.

First off, this is the Flame Forum. There is no irony in my post because this is not where the problem resides.
Secondly, my point is that what you're saying...that this site is going to lose its fun because the admins requested the bitching *outside the Flame Forum* stop...sounds so absolutely stupid and just flat out pisses me off. You've been here less than a month and you're concluding that all of what was created here, for the soul purpose of sharing climbing information with RRG climbers, is going to suck now because people will get banned if they trash this board and steer it away from what it was intended?
This BBS is primarily dedicated to climbing. There are seven forums for climbing and two for BS talk. Bitching has two homes to reside in and those that don't want to read through that crap shouldn't have to.
If you're in a climbing thread and the topic goes from "your favorite cam size" to "thongs...yes or no", please start a new thread with this topic in one of the two non-climbing oriented forums.
My number one priority is Ray. If he gets upset then I get REALLY upset.
Just please respect this board and the purpose it was created for and keep your bitching to the two forums mentioned above. I, for one, would hate to lose this website (again...see Wes' post).

Maybe it's because I'm a veteran of both climbkentucky.com and this site, but it seems to me that there has been an influx of really immature people of late. I know I'm immature as well, but anyone else notice that in the last few months there seems to be a contingent of little bitches on this site. Bring it on; I'm ready.
I agree, Overhung. There's an awful lot of junior high school level shit talking going on, which is totally lacking in humor and content. You have no idea how hard it is for me to stop myself from deleting these people and their drivel from this board
